We are still short funds for this years giving program. Please consider donating in order to assist us in helping the kids get on those bikes and ride!
We have amassed an amazing team of over 20 cyclists from Sacramento to Santa Barbara who are currently preparing to ride towards their cycling goal in support of TurningWheels for Kids. Whether that goal be to finish a century or to take on the Death Ride, one of the most demanding cycling events in California, this team is ready to support our kids through their effort. The Death Ride covers 129 miles, reaches 5 high altitude mountain passes and climbs 15,000 feet - all accomplished in one single day and you can help us reach our goal of $60,000 towards this amazing goal for 2010.
We are a team still looking for more volunteer riders to join supporting Team TurningWheels for Kids. Please contact us if you are a rider!
Ray King, Mary Straley, Leah Toeniskoetter, Scott Griggs, Greg Eby, Cliff Merritt, Bradley Erickson, Mike Gutierrez, Derek Lemberger, Dave Rodrigues, Dan Mennel, Brennan Wenck, John O’Brien, Don Rodrigues, Mike McGaughey, Todd Osterberg
If you are registered for a cycling event and want to make it even more meaningful, find out what it will mean to be a part of our team by contacting:

If you are not a cyclist, we still need your support.
Please look around the TWFK Death Ride page, become acquainted with the riders and make a donation to simply support the team or if one rider amuses you, support that rider! Each rider has agreed to raise money for TWFK. They need your help!
This year is going to be a challenge for TurningWheels for Kids. We are counting on you to help us help the kids just as you have in the past. I have said it before and I will say it again ~ it is NOT the amount you give, it is that you give! What could be simpler? And if I can make one more request ~ please give now. Best pricing on bikes is early in the year. Help us to capture that opportunity. And just so you know ~ on average a bike costs us $85. All you have to do is decide how many children you want to put on bikes.
