Here is a picture of myself with my faithful friend Haley.
I started riding in college when that was the only means of transportation I had. During my first century ride I bonked at mile 80 and had to quit. I learned that you need to drink and eat during the ride and you can’t count on a pasta dinner the night before to get you through the ride.
I took Haley on a ride once in a trailer but she jumped out and almost took out a roller blader. We sold the trailer the next week and Haley has been happy ever since.
This picture is at the top of Carson Pass. One of the greatest feelings in the world is to make it to the top of Carson and have an ice cream bar.
