2009 Death Ride Fundraiser

This year TurningWheels for Kids has decided to really work for their money.

TWFK has drafted an amazing team of 15+ cyclists from Sacramento to Santa Barbara who are currently preparing to ride 129 miles over 5 mountain passes and climb 15,000 feet to accomplish the daunting task referred to as the Death Ride! And we are still looking for more volunteers to join Team TurningWheels For Kids!

Please go to the TWFK Death Ride Page, become acquainted with the riders and make a donation to simply support the team or if one rider amuses you, support that rider! Each rider has agreed to raise money for TWFK. They need your help!

This year is going to be a challenge for TurningWheels For Kids. We are counting on you to help us help the kids just as you have in the past. I have said it before and I will say it again ~ it is NOT the amount you give, it is that you give! What could be simpler? And if I can make one more request ~ please give now. Best pricing on bikes is early in the year. Help us to capture that opportunity. And just so you know ~ on average a bike costs us $75. All you have to do is decide how many children you want to put on bikes.
