My name is Greg Eby and I am an avid road and mountain bike cyclist. I always wanted to do the death ride and in 2008 finally got the opportunity. I successfully completed all five passes and had a terrific time riding and meeting many new friends.
I spent the weekend with my friend, Dave Rodrigues who was also doing the Death Ride and raising donations for Turning Wheels for Kids. Through Dave, I was fortunate to meet all the wonderful people associated with Turning Wheels for Kids and was really impressed with the charity and their mission statement.
When asked to join the Turning Wheels for Kids Death Ride team for 2009, I jumped at the opportunity. Last year’s ride was a personal accomplishment, but this year my goal is to complete the ride again with the larger purpose of raising donations for a worthy cause.
